I am Maria. I am a New York Girl. I met and fell in love with my husband at 25 and moved to Missouri. We lived in Missouri for 17 years and had five children until making The big move to California to help my father-in-law with his goat farm. We began milking goats last year.and we had an overflow of milk production. At first, we were making cheeses, caramels and soaps just for our family. Then I realized from feedback at the local Farmers Market that people in our community would love to have someone local sell goat milk soap and Body Lotion.
The soap making process became a passion for me. I loved that I was able to pour my creativity into this soap crafting art. After making my first bar, I could tell a huge difference in my skin versus store bought soap. After using my soap, my skin felt so soft and silky. My skin was feeling very dry and rough because of factors like living in California’s hot and dry inland area. I was also experiencing signs of aging as a middle-aged woman and noticed my skin looked less dull after using my goat milk soap. I have a history of eczema that is stress related and store-bought soap where irritating and not helping my skin. However, after making goat milk soaps, I saw such an improvement.
I hope my soaps can help with your skin issues, if any. But you can also feel confident that you are applying all natural handmade soap made with love, by me for your skin. All of our products are 100% Organic made. Our goats only eat natural four grain hay mix that we plant, Alfalfa, pure Wheat grain and for special treats we give them a Fourway grain mix with molasses too.
My Father-in-Law takes his goat herd out to pasture every day, twice a day. He truly loves this and enjoys spending time with his goats in the fields. He is 90 years young, but he uses a side by side Kawasaki UTV along with Chocolata, his herding Aussie. Sometimes Ben, our 10 year old little farmer, also goes out with Grandpa to help round up the herd on his Honda Quad. Grandpa is teaching Ben to be a farmer, just like he trained my husband to be a pretty decent farmer too, before Hector joined the military. But now, we are all farmers and we absolutely love it.
